  1. QuantoMarkets

QuantoMarkets is an unlicensed forex and CFD broker that offers South African traders a selection of accounts, interesting trading conditions and a large variety of assets.

Before investing any money with QuantoMarkets though, read our full review and honest verdict to discover if this company can be trusted or whether they are yet another well-hidden scam.

    The 3 Account Types

Like most brokers, QuantoMarkets offers South African investors a selection of three trading accounts to choose from, depending on personal preference and prior trading experience. As usual, the higher the deposit, the more advanced the account and the more extra features added.

All three accounts have 1-on-1 training, 24-hour support and market execution.

Details of each account are listed below.

    Trading Platform & Assets

QuantoMarkets offers South African traders a wide selection of over 12,000 trading instruments that cover all major financial markets, including CFDs in forex, cryptocurrencies, stocks, metals, bonds and ETFs. QuantoMarkets has all the most popular cryptocurrencies available, such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, Ripple and more, that can all be traded with $50.

As for the trading platforms, QuantoMarkets offers South African investors two choices: Web trading and mobile trading. Both of these options can be accessed through the “QuantoTrader”, which is a simple trading software created by FXVGroup.

QuantoTrader is a trading platform that can be easily used by complete beginners, as it has a very simple interface and is especially user-friendly. South African investors can trade through their PC, laptop or mobile devices.

Unfortunately, QuantoMarkets does not have the infamous MetaTrader 4 (MT4) or MetaTrader5 (MT5) trading platforms available. These are the most popular forex trading platforms worldwide and it is indeed regrettable that QuantoMarkets only offers the QuantoTrader for South African traders.

    Customer Support

The customer support team at QuantoMarkets can be reached anytime via email, phone, live chat or the contact form on their website. QuantoMarkets appears to be quite professional when it comes to their customer support, as they offer many different ways South African traders can reach them.

Even if you prefer to not contact them directly, QuantoMarkets also has a separate FAQ section that addresses all the main questions South African traders have. We would even advise you to look through this section before contacting them, because it is possible your question is already answered there.

    Company Info & Payment Methods

QuantoMarkets is owned and operated by the company Quanto Global Corp, under the registration number 98516. The company is located offshore, at: Trust Company Complex, Ajeltake road, Ajeltake Island, Majuro, Marshal Islands MH96960.

QuantoMarkets accepts various payment methods, including credit card (Visa, Mastercard, Maestro), bank wire transfer, Skrill, Neteller, WebMoney and AliPay.

    Verdict: Is QuantoMarkets a Scam?

Our team has carefully reviewed QuantoMarkets and although we could not find any immediate red flags in their website, this broker is unlicensed – which could be problematic. As you know, we always advise South African traders to invest in licensed and regulated companies that can mostly be trusted. Better to be safe than sorry, right?

This is why we always recommend trading with brokers like IQ Option – the best regulated broker for South African traders with the incredibly low minimum of $10!
